Another gorgeous design Kavitha! Directional toes, that makes so much sense. :) I'm off to take a look at the short row heels video you shared. :)

Knitting the Manzil socks was very pleasurable. Just as you stated the cabling served as a great row counter and the socks flew off my needles. I loved the fit of the short row heel and the contoured toe (my first) will be my go to for all my socks in the future. Kudos for a lovely design, Kavitha!

Manzil means destination and you have reached a new destination in sock knitting I think :) My Manzil is to try it some day soon. :)

Your socks look so perfect!

Lovely socks. I’ve never tried directional toes either I usually do toe up with an FLK heel but I might have to experiment with these.

Thank you Linda! I didn't quite believe them until I tried them on actually. Btw I have made only one toe up so far. I like the method but somehow cuff-down has become my default. It would be interesting to a directional toe-up sock! 🤔

Gorgeous socks Kavitha and I am intrigued by the directional toe shaping, I have never tried this method before. I love a short row heel and use the German short row method for it which doesn’t leave any holes. Socks are my go to relax project and I love giving them as gifts too. Happy weekend from Wales 🥰
