I knit a vest! A test knit and I love how it turned out, although it does feel bold to wear!

I hear you on the bold part. I find it helpful to spend some time figuring out what I want to wear it with, for new-to-me items. 🙂

I currently have Fluens Tee on my needles. As I immediately fell in love with the simple yet eye-catching design. Spring has just come around in Germany and I can‘t wait to finish it.

I have never knitted a garment for myself, though I have knitted baby sweaters and vests for little ones that I love.

Love hearing the details of how you designed the Mika Vest. And you wear it so well! I do see how your choice of the 'bouncy' Anne Vally’s Targhee Worsted makes the knit-in pattern come to life. This is the perfect garment to dress-up a pair of jeans!

Thank you so much for your kind words Sandy. I agree, this one is proving to be a nice way to dress up jeans+long sleeve. :)

Thank you so much Alexa. I am so glad you like it. The polished trim is such a boost to the garment. Everyone who tested enjoyed it so much too.
