I believe knitting relaxes me But I am one that puts it down and look at other patterns and yarn and start on something else. I need to stop and finish what I have started. I love Expression Fiber Art yarn Been with them for years. Also check out Bad Sheep Yarn if you haven’t already.

True for most knitters, I believe! I am so glad to hear you love EFA. Stunning colors and choices. Thank you, I am adding Bad Sheep Yarn to my list of yarns to try.

Check out her website. Pictures don’t do justice but someone said the colors looks like the same when you get the yarn. Marcie and Chandi used to live near each other in Alaska and Marcie worked for Chandi as a dyer of yarn. That’s how Marcie got started dying her own yarn. Now they both don’t live in Alaska anymore lol. Marcie is usually on her facebook and instagram doing live shows on Thursday at 7 central. They just got back from Flock Show.

Hope all is well with you and family

I too recently purchased a fountain pen. The weight in my hand and the smoothness with which it glides across the paper brings me joy. Just like my knitting. 🖋️🧶😊

How lovely! You are right. It has a pleasant weight to hold and write with. ❤️

Hello Kavitha, I'm a fairly new subscriber and your wonderful comments today on begining brioche knitting were well timed for me. I was just browsing Ravelry last night, looking for something easy to try brioche. I'll get on Ravelry later today to get your pattern. I hope I can do this with worsted weight yarn, as bulky is too difficult for my hands to manage comfortably. Thank you!

I am so happy to know it was timely for you. ❤️ Yes, some of my testers have already made it using worsted weight yarn. It’s very straightforward to adjust. Hope you enjoy making it. 🤗

Nice encouragement to get briocheing! (Is that a word? lol) So smart to create those lifeline garter stitch rows! They certainly ad interest to your design while being very useful as you have explained to make a correction. Love that!! I have sometime added sections of flat knit to other complex designs for the same purpose and found that they also helped the designs stand out. We live and learn with our knitting! I am a bit full-up on projects just now, but I will keep your lessons for learning brioche in mind. Love that little bit you have shared of what you are currently designing!!! Love the colors. The Lambtown Festival in October sounds like great fun! That's the perfect time of year to show off your terrific knits, as well. :-)

I am sure briocheing is a word now. It’s kinda cool to verbify some nouns. 😂 Thank you so much for the design appreciation and I am glad the tips help. I am looking forward to Lambtown this year. 🫶🏽🫶🏽
