I don't think I will knit the same garment again. As I am predominantly a crocheter, I don't crochet a garment multiple times too..., whether it is easy or very beautiful. I only repeat small projects in crochet... like an AirPods case or a coin purse, which also serves as a break in between intense knits or crocheted projects.
Though I don’t repeat, I have thought about repeating patterns. For instance, I have wanted to make your Ansh cowl again, but have not got around to it. :)
Ahh ok!! And good to know Ansh feels repeatable. :) I was wondering how its would look with mohair+lace too. When I mean repeat, of course a lot of things can be changed and it would feel like a totally different project. Even color change would do sometimes. :)
I am currently knitting Marin Melchior's Butterfly/Papillon pattern for the third time. This isn't because I particularly enjoy German short rows or complicated patterns, but because I have three daughters who all wanted one. I will admit that it gets easier. Some.
I’ve knit the same pattern multiple times. Novelty is great, but sometimes you just want to know an FO is going to be what you need it to be. Thanks for writing- I really enjoy reading your work.
Isn't it? I came to this realization first through my cooking though. Some patterns are just like the simple wholesome recipes that are enjoyed over and over. Thank you so much for your kind words. ♥️
If something works well and I wear it a lot, then I will re-knit in other colours.
That's a great way to think about it. I am just starting off in that direction.

I didn't like to repeat for a long time too. Somehow, I am feeling differently about it now. Let's see. It may or may not change again :))

Now that IS an intricate pattern to be repeating thrice. Kudos to your perseverance. Good to know even patterns of that scale gets somewhat easier.
