Choosing my patterns to knit from a gazillion other options you have.
Trusting your precious knitting time with me - with test knits and purchased patterns.
Supporting my work by sharing with others online and in real life.
Leaving kind comments and liking my work & writing on the internet.
Every valuable feedback that has helped me grow as a pattern writer over the past few years.
Delightful knitting tips and tricks you have shared with me.
Sharing your knitting journey and beautiful memories and anecdotes.
And for the endless knitting chatter and joy you fill my life with.
Thank you! π
I am truly thankful for being able to do the work I love and share it with you all. Every time you choose to support a small business like me, you are actually helping more than one person in the fiber industry. π§Ά
You are helping me
βοΈHire a technical editor comfortably.
βοΈTo buy an online course from another expert in the industry, that could help me do my job better.
βοΈTo buy tools and notions from another maker.
βοΈTo buy a pattern or two from a fellow designer just for the joy of following a pattern, occasionally.
βοΈTo buy beautiful hand-dyed yarn from indie dyers.
All of which I believe, in turn enables better patterns to be available and accessible for all of us. Truly, thank you! π
OTHER UPDATES
I am planning to spend time with my family on this weekend as it is the Thanksgiving holidays and it also happens to be my birthday this Saturday. So I am sending out this newsletter a bit earlier this week. βοΈ
In fact, for the rest of the year I might send out something lighter for you to read in my e-mails instead of my usual essays. π
But my crafting will continue. If you are working on any of my patterns for the KAL, please donβt hesitate to email me if you need pattern support. Also, if you are new here or missed reading my older emails, I request you to read from the archives and let me know what you think.
I would love to hear from you either ways. π€
Until next time,
Kavitha.β‘
