I know I say this almost every time, but I truly feel incredibly lucky with the testers for this pattern. Testers are the first knitters to get excited about a new design and dive in to give it a try. I’m always deeply grateful for their trust, time, and invaluable feedback.❤️
Anne Vally of
offered to test the mitts using her lovely hand-dyed yarn, knit a lovely pair and generously shared her absolutely magical photos. Can you even count how many things are here to celebrate?🎉And I was so thrilled when I realized I had taken one shot very similar to hers. I couldn’t resist making a collage out of our matchy-matchy shots. ☺️ Anne has used her Molly colorway for her mitts, one of her wardrobe essentials colors, which I am an absolute fan of. 💓
Navneet knit a size A (left) and Bettina knit a size B (right).
Lily knit a size B (left) and Laura knit a size C (right).
Wendy knit a size A (left up), Lori knit a size C (right) Gabi knit a size D (left down).
Malli knit a size D (left) and Christina knit a size E (right).
They are some vigilant knitters I know, with an eye for detail. Their feedback improved pattern readability to a great extent. I was also lucky to get testers for every single size in this pattern. I received valuable inputs about fit for larger sizes during the testing.
The pattern wouldn’t be what it is without the knowledge, patience, time and efforts of these wonderful people. Please do visit their projects on Ravelry and show some love. 💕
I hope you enjoy knitting up a pair or two of Almas Mitts this season. 🍂

Just downloaded the Saurus Hood, Matte Hood, and Almas Mitts patterns, can't wait to knit holiday gifts!
All the mitts look lovely! I doubt I will ever knit a mitts :) as it is of no use in the place I live in, unless I take a trip to the Arctic :) or any other cold place.
I am yet to read this book by Amor Towles. I like his books.
