SOAR SCARF, published in Jan 2021 is my first pattern to have been written for Malabrigo Arroyo and it is one of my well-loved patterns.
SOAR Scarf is a shallow V-shaped scarf , that wraps around generously, designed and detailed to look like the shape of a soaring bird. :)
Gentle shaping - Starts with a long picot cast-on and decreases steadily into the V-shape
Beautiful details - Picot and twisted stitch at the border, to resemble the texture of feathers.
Simple Body - Stockinette and mesh stripes.
Options - Can be knit using 1 skein of sport or 1 skein of fingering weight yarn.

CUTILITARIAN KNITS - 4 PATTERN COLLECTION
Last August, I released a collection of four accessories called Cutilitarian Knits (cute+utilitarian) using Arroyo. These versatile pieces can be effortlessly thrown over any outfit The patterns in this collection are centered around comforting elements like stripes, checks, ribbing, and clean lines.
VIVIR SHAWL
Long and narrow 3-color shawl that wraps around generously
Entirely knit in garter stitch
Interesting construction and garter stripe details.

KIRAN COWL
Knitted back and forth first for the border and then joined in the round to create slit.
Border : Twisted stitch motif details (knit flat)
Body: Twisted ribbing (knit in the round)

AMPHI MITTS
Fingerless mitts featuring checkered slip-stitch colorwork on one side and stripes on the other.
Techniques involve working with only one color at a time.
The ribbing is done in a 3rd neutral color for a polished look.

Fun take on the classic watchman hat.
Knitted from the bottom up in 2X2 ribbing with two colors.

How serendipitous! I just got Malabrigo Arroyo for a shawl I'm making for a beloved. It's my first time using it and I love it! It's such a soft yarn. I may have to use my remaining bits to make myself a pair of your Amphi Mitts!
